Wonderful 1960s geometric space age throwback piece by Keita Maruyama. The circle skirt is midi calf length, with a fitted waist. The skirt is primarily sky blue, and features a sunshine yellow hem with scalloping between the yellow and blue, accented by black starbursts. Playful appliques of doily - like lime green shapes, red diamond shapes with rosette detailing, and black rosettes adorn the top third of the skirt. Skirt is sturdy and twirls wonderfully! Last image shows the skirt in 2000, along with other pieces in Maruyama's 2000 Fall / Winter collection. Made in Japan.
